Local Travel: #NaPhoPoMo – Day 7

It’s when we’re staying still that we forget that we’re still traveling. When we’re faced with the everyday we stop looking at the details that make every place unique.

To combat that I am taking part in #NaPhoPoMo (National Photo Posting Month) where I will take, and post, a photo every day in November. Every day! I’ve never done this before but I’m hoping to see some evolution, and probably some themes, in my photography. I’d be happy to hear what you think!

Early morning walk.

Look Good Feel Better Today I went to a Look Good Feel Better session with my mother-in-law. This amazing program aims to ‘improve the self esteem and quality of life of people undergoing treatment for cancer‘. What I saw was a group of caring volunteers help women who have seen their whole appearance change due to cancer treatment re-acquaint themselves with their new beauty and find their self esteem once again.

It’s a fabulous program funded entirely by donations, the work of volunteers, and the generous gifts of health and beauty companies.

The murder of crows that roosts in the park next to our apartment every night. Rumoured to be 50,000 strong!
