Since you've got India on the radar, I would highly recommend it. It really takes you deep into that world. Also, if you haven't already checked out "The Motorcycle Diaries", it's a good read. BTW I'm in roughly the same RTW planning stage as you guys. It's almost half the fun! Have you read “A Fine Balance” by Rohinton Mistry?
