Preparation is key, so if you\u2019re up to the challenge, check out our ultimate list and get on your bike.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Afan Forest, Wales<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With a mighty 14 miles of off-road routes, Afan Forest near Port Talbot offers a range of trails all of varying difficulty and length. But whichever route you choose, you\u2019re sure to be bowled over by the stunning views of the Forest park, Swansea Bay and the surrounding valleys, as well as exhilarated by the spectacular single track descents. Considered by many to be amongst the best mountain biking in Britain, Afan Forest is a must for any biker worth their salt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les Gets, France<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For those who love the adrenalin of downhill biking, Les Gets in the Alps offers a series of top notch downhill trails amidst a truly stunning location. Whether you\u2019re new to biking or a seasoned pro, this popular spot is great for both getting to grips with the sport and showing off some serious skills. Aside from over 200km of trails spanning 12 resorts, there is also a selection of permanent downhill tracks including some of world cup standard.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cancha Carrera, Chile<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Located high in the mountains of Chile, they don\u2019t get much better than Cancha Carrera. But be warned; due to the technical riding required as well as sharp, speedy turns, this is strictly for advanced riders. However, if you\u2019ve got the skills, this one should be at the top of any serious riders list and is certainly worth the visit thanks to the beautiful scenery across Chile\u2019s wild and wonderful terrain.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Moab, Utah<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cited as \u2018the greatest mountain biking on the planet,\u2019 Moab is also amongst the most popular. Slickrock trail, the most well-known of the trails to be found here, attracts over 100,000 visitors a year, each of which no doubt comes to enjoy the 9.6 miles of challenging turns and highly technical riding it offers.
